What this site collects

If you submit a contact, résumé-request, or vlog-update form, the site processes the information you enter to complete that request. Résumé requests require a name and email. Your organization, note, interest in connecting professionally, and knowledge of a potential role are optional. The site does not ask for a home address or phone number.

Résumé requests and secure links

When you request a résumé, Jarrett receives the details you provide and can email you a secure, time-limited link to the current edition. The link may allow browser viewing only or viewing and PDF download, and it may be disabled or replaced when needed.

Each link expires and can be disabled or replaced. After a link is opened, the site uses a secure browser cookie to keep the résumé available during that visit. The service records link status and visit count but is designed not to store raw IP addresses or browser fingerprints. A view-only link does not offer the PDF download, although visible information can still be copied, printed, or captured in a screenshot.

Separate consent

Requesting or receiving a résumé does not subscribe you to marketing or vlog email. Optional professional-connection and role-fit boxes give Jarrett context for direct follow-up; they are not newsletter consent. A vlog-update request requires its own unchecked, explicit consent box.

Service providers

Transactional email is sent through Jarrett's existing Google Workspace connection. Hosting and aggregate performance services are provided by Vercel. Secure résumé links and form delivery are handled by Jarrett's private business systems. Contact, résumé-request, and explicitly consented vlog-newsletter submissions are appended to a private Google Sheet owned by jarrett@suburbiasandwichco.com. These providers process limited technical and request-delivery data under their own terms.

Analytics

The public site uses Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights for aggregate traffic and performance information. Event tracking is limited to non-identifying actions; names, email addresses, organizations, notes, and form messages are not sent to analytics. Private résumé pages do not load site analytics.

Retention and questions

Form and résumé-delivery messages may remain in Jarrett’s and the requester’s email systems and Jarrett's private submissions tracker as long as reasonably needed to complete the request and maintain appropriate business records. The tracker does not store private link or access tokens, credentials, résumé contents, or complete shortlinks. A private record for each secure link may remain until the link is disabled, expires, or is removed.
